Release Date: October 25th

Genre: Paranormal Romance/Suspense

SYNOPSIS

Elias never saw it coming. The deception had been flawless. He had looked into the dark eyes of his half-brother Qaylin. The torrent of anger and rage rose from the dark abyss of his soul at what this bastard had done. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before or since… A million times a million Cains screamed across the Heavens. Their voices echoed in his head demanding the blood of the betrayer, Qaylin!

Elias knew it was time he stopped fighting from a position of weakness. He had to get up and take the fight to the enemy’s doorstep and he only had a small window of time to do so. He would have to strike while they thought he was beaten, then stand toe to toe against the forces of Hell itself. Somehow he had to even the odds and give him and his men a fighting chance to win. But his ancient enemies were powerful. It appeared as though the heavens had been eerily quiet as if the matters of men no longer mattered to the angelic host. It seemed Lucifer had full dominion over this mortal coil. If that was so, what chance did Elias and his men have against such an enemy?

“The Rage of Angels” is the explosive second book in the CAIN series.

How do I begin? First it started with Cain – Sins of the Father and I was blown away with that story of eternal love and Heaven and Hell. Wow!! Just Wow!  And then the waiting for this book began. When it finally landed in my Kindle I immediately started reading. Was the plot easy to follow? Well if you can keep up with all the twist and turns and mysteries of this of this story, then yes it was easy to follow. The plot line for this book is the oldest story in biblical history, but Elias Raven makes it his own story in such a way that you can’t imagine it any other way. This book is less of a love story and more of a story of battle and war, or plots and deception, which is something I never thought would interest me but it certainly has.

The characters are many and each has his own back story, which Elias does a fine job of weaving them into his tale of good and evil. I was so enthralled that meals were missed, sleep was deprived, I couldn’t stop reading just one more chapter. I’ve never read a book like this before, one that had so many points of view and it totally worked for me. I am definitely a new fan of this Author and I look forward to the hopefully final chapter in this series.

I ran the gamut of emotions here, from grief to a giggle, it was all so captivating. If you read Cain – Sins of the Father, then you know Elias is stretched in every direction trying to figure out how to solve this mystery of his brother and how to save Genevieve. Each chapter bringing him closer and closer, it was a thrilling read.

Lastly I wanted to say that I can tell that the Author did his research and is himself well read. The poems between each chapter were different and really cool to read, each giving their own part or clue to the story. Not a single eye rolling moment here, I loved it!! Elias Raven is getting another 5-star review from this girl/fan. Bravo Elias! Well done!

Excerpt (Unedited)

Elias~ I didn't get it, it was like my brain at that moment had stopped functioning.

Like it was made of glass and had shattered into a million tiny fragments

of images and emotion painted across the television screen as I watched

the flames burn. My empire was on fire! G and Parker were dead! My mother

was bitter and my brother had just sliced me open from head to toe with

a katana of raw emotion playing me like Nero while Rome burned.

I screamed so loudly everyone in the house came running, beating on the

doors to the den. The tears exploded out of me like a fountain! I dropped

to my knees in front of my father, in front of the screen unable to comprehend

the ass kicking I was taking from this man.

My dad waited looking down at his hands, unable to even comprehend

but at the same time feeling everything. He was part of me after all.

My cell phone chimed as my mother and Khyentse calling over and over again

I slammed my fists into the floor until my hands started to bleed, but I didn't care.

I wasn't feeling it, I was pain, I was anger, I was the flame, my emotions, my feelings everything was a white-hot poker of anger.

I felt like a cyclone of rage as I stood up. I have never ever wanted to kill before,

but at that moment me.. us... were all in unison. Qaylin was a dead man. I was going

to personally kill him and I was going to look him right in the eye when I did it

so he knew who did it, just like when he killed my father.. Like when he killed me.

I was going to do it cold blooded too. I wasn't going to use a sniper, I was going to fight him hand to hand, I was going to beat him, break him until he was a bloody mess

and still it wasn't going to give me satisfaction.. But at the same time, it was going to

feel oh so fucking good.

Excerpt:

Heavy-duty glass stairs and banisters lined the route to the plush flooring on the upper floor. Ten square open seated areas faced the main dance floor allowing us to mingle with the other VIP’s if we wanted to socialize. We were led to the first one on the right, and I couldn’t help but notice we’d snagged the best spot because we could see the DJ and the crowd dancing below. Even though we were cut off from the main dancefloor, we still felt a part of the normal stuff happening below. Six bottles of champagne were already chilling in coolers on the side tables dotted between the deep red velvet seating as Amber ran excitedly toward the area and sat rubbing her hands on the soft material, “Thank you, guys. This is absolutely unreal. I can’t believe you’ve done all of this for us.”

Valerie smiled and snuck her hand up the inside of my shirt, “You’re incredible, Flynn. Look how happy she is. Thank you, for planning this.”

“I did this for us as much as for them. How often have I had the time to spend having slow sexy dances with my girl?”

Apart from our night in Chicago, I’d never taken her dancing. I planned to straighten that out.

“From now on Valerie, we’re ditching all the shitty parts that go with RedA, and we’re going to have some fun. Taking her by the hand, I led her over to the plush sofas and sat on one taking her down with me sitting her on my knee. Surprisingly, she straddled my lap and planted a wet kiss on my neck, “Mmm, very nice,” she murmured as she shivered and wiggled her pussy on my hard dick.
“You’re a fucking tease, you know that Ms. Darsin?” I snickered and cupped her ass in the palms of my hands while I stole a deep, passionate kiss.

We were interrupted when Kayden tapped on Valerie’s shoulder and bent to speak in her ear, “I’d rather you were a bit more restrained in front of me, Sis,” he scowled.

Valerie glanced at me and smirked knowingly, “Kayden, what are you, my dad? Flynn’s a rock star, he’s got a reputation to keep, you’ll just have to suck it up,” she retorted, before pulling my hair back and kissing me again.

Breaking the kiss I chuckled when I saw Kayden rub the back of his neck because I knew he wanted to knock me the fuck out, but Valerie had spoken, and I was damned if I was going to apologize for kissing my girl.

Complicate Me Cover Reveal

COVER REVEAL

Complicate Me

The Good Ol' Boys

Best Selling Author M.Robinson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 14th

It was complicated, it was also just the beginning.
A decision.
A simple choice.
There is always that one moment in life where things could have been different. That one moment where you could have chosen a path that would lead you down a certain road.
A different life.
It was easier to pretend that we were still best friends, and that she was my girl and I was her boy.
Pretending was better than knowing the truth...
I. Ruined. Us.
I had her.
I lost her.
I love her.
All I did was complicate us.

I just couldn’t stay mad at him.
He made it absolutely impossible
for me not to laugh and he knew it, too. Which only made it worse. It was like
adding fuel to the fire, making it bigger and wider with each flare of
gasoline. When I saw that he didn’t turn down my street and kept riding in the
direction of our abandoned house, I smiled.
There was no helping that either.
The times that he chose to be
with me over the boys warmed my heart, especially when he preferred me to
surfing.
We parked our bikes behind the
house and ran up the stairs. Over the last few months we had turned it into our
own little paradise, bringing blankets and pillows to throw on the floor,
candles for when it got dark, and sometimes Lucas would even bring in wood from
outside to turn on the fireplace. We had magazines, board games, snacks and
water. Everything we needed was there.
I loved it.
He handed me a bottled water to
drink and then I passed it back to him so he could, too. I laid down on the
blankets and pillows and beheld the vaulted ceilings with a content sigh.
“Whatcha’ thinkin’ about over
there?” he questioned, sitting down facing me.
“How much I love this place.”
“Good.”
“I want to get married here.”
“What?” he chuckled.
“You heard me. I want to have my
engagement party here and I want to get married here. And then I want to buy
this house and raise a family here,” I firmly stated.
“Aren’t you a little young to
think about stuff like that?”
“No. I think about stuff like
that all the time.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Mmm hmm…”
“Who you marrying?”
I immediately held his amused
gaze. “What?” It was my turn to say.
“You heard me,” he replied,
throwing my own words back at me. “Who you marrying?”
“Oh…” I breathed out. “I don’t
know.”
He raised his eyebrow but didn’t
call me out on my lie. “Don’t you think that maybe you should experience things
first?”
“How do you know I haven’t?” I
provoked, wanting to wipe the smug look off his face.
“Because I know.”
“Whatever.” I looked away.
“You want to know how I know?”
I kept my stare on the tray
ceilings, swallowing the saliva that had pooled in my mouth, and hoping that it
would calm the fluttering feeling I had suddenly formed in my belly. I shrugged
because I couldn’t speak; it would giveaway how I felt.
“I know because I would remember
it, just like I remember our first experience. The same one that’s hanging
around your neck.”
My heart pounded with each word
that fell from his mouth.
“Do you want me to?”
“Do I want you to what?” I
replied, already knowing what he meant but needing to hear him say it.
“Do you want me to kiss you?” He
paused to let his words sink in. “Really kiss you?”
My mouth parted and my chest rose
and descended with each breath I took. I found myself nodding before I gave it
anymore thought, ignoring the voice in the back of my mind that screamed at me
that this was a bad idea. He bent forward and rested on his hands and knees,
his face, his lips, coming toward me and making me tightly shut my eyes.
Waiting.
A million thoughts went through my head, but the moment I felt his lips on mine they were all gone in an
instant…

Nothing else mattered at that
moment.

Excerpt:-

Rick cracked the door open and padded through it hacking a cough and reaching for the mini-bar. “Mornin’ Lothario.” He croaked in my direction without making eye contact, reading the labels.

Chuckling loudly, there was just no way I was going to live down that after party Mark was talking about, but when I took in the sight of him I couldn’t help but throw a come-back at him.

Did your mother send you that get up, or are the pyjamas supposed to turn the women in your room off enough to leave?”

Rick looked down and smirked at the wine coloured paisley patterned silk pyjama bottoms he was wearing.

Waving his hand at the chair for me to sit down he pulled a glass and poured himself a miniature of gin and a small bottle of tonic water into it. “Long story.”

“Can’t wait.” My hurried comment was followed up with a wide grin as I settled back in the chair with one leg crossed over the other, my ankle resting on my knee.

“Allergy. I’ve got a rash from the starch on the hotel sheets the other night.”

As soon as he said that I knew he was going to regret it and I could see from the startled look on his face he’d been caught off guard and didn’t mean to be so open about it. He knew he’d walked right into something that I’d use against him, even if I was managing to keep my face straight.

“A rash?” I couldn’t keep the humour out of my voice, and there was even the hint of a breakthrough giggle in those two words.

Rick stared pointedly at me as if to say, “Laugh and tear you a new one,” but my sense of humour just overrode any potential fall-out consequences he may have been planning.

“That’s a bit like saying I got pregnant from the sheets, Rick. Don’t you think you’re more likely to have caught something from one of the women in your bed than the sheets? Or don’t you want to believe that just in case you get pussy-fright?

Rick threw the lid of the gin bottle at me and it bounced off my forehead but by that time I was chuckling loudly. “Laugh all you want, I’m allergic to starch. So they got me these from the hotel store because I needed something to make sure I was protected in bed. It was fucking murder trying to play with the itch in my pants the night before last.”

“Most guys wear condoms for protection, Rick not theatrical pyjamas.”

Rick was being deadly serious but the more he spoke the more uncontrollable my laughing became until he stood up and pulled them down to show me the red welts on his legs, his dick at eye level with me. Just as he did this, the door opened and the two girls he had in his bed came through the door.

Turning my head to look at them, I was still stifling a grin. Rick was true to form and had two classic groupies for his sleepover, skinny girls with big tits, no bras, dyed blonde hair with black roots dressed in the usual rock-chick attire of leather mini-skirts, fishnet stockings and tight dark brown and cream t-shirts with the ‘Cobham Street’ motif on them.

“Sorry ladies, I was just about to part-take would either of you like to join me?”

My quip was out before I’d even thought about it. Hell, I was probably going to be sacked after this, but I grinned widely and Rick smacked me around the head, making me cry out— partly in surprise, partly out of pain.

“You’re such a smart ass Jack Cunningham.” Pivoting the top half if his body in their direction he gestured at me with his hand, his pyjamas still at his ankles. “I was just showing him my rash.”

Laughing raucously I stared helplessly at Rick taking in his pathetic form with the patterned material draped around his feet and his dick dangling in front of him. As soon as I knew he felt the need to explain what was happening all of my professionalism suddenly deserted me and I was struggling to catch my breath, let alone stop laughing. The skinnier one of the girls gave a loud snort, then her resolve was gone and she joined in laughing, but I think she was laughing because mine was so infectious more than anything else.

Rick continued protesting his innocence when suddenly the second girl who had been standing staring deadpan erupted in the oddest hee-haw laugh I’ve ever heard in my life. The look on Rick’s face was a picture as he gawped in disbelief with his jaw open taking in all of us laughing hysterically at his expense. I was sure he was going react badly, but even at that I just couldn’t get it together at all.

Rick bent down and pulled his pyjamas up, which I found even funnier for no particular reason and this set off a fresh bout of laughter. Striding over to open the door, Rick waved a finger in the direction of the two women and Jed made short work of evacuating them from the scene. All I could do was watch helplessly because I couldn’t get my laughing fit under control, and I was sure I was going to be next to be thrown out, but probably via the roof terrace.

Closing the door again, Rick bent forward, his hands on his knees and he suddenly cracked up with laughter. “Jack fucking Cunningham, I should bury my size eleven up your ass for what just happened there, and I don’t understand why I can’t…I fucking love you, dude. You have no idea what a breath of fresh air you are in a world full of ‘yes men’. How the fuck have you been?”
